The Law of Asia Union |
|

The Penal (Imprisonment) Code of the Asia Union consists of this
present Code. All existing and new laws providing for the establishment and operation of the corrections system are
subject to inclusion in the present Code.

The present Code is based on the Constitution of
Asia Union and the generally recognized principles and norms of international
law.
|

Structure of the Prison Code

The Prison Code is structured into chapters, which in
turn are divided into articles and then one or more clauses within each
article.

The major chapters of the Prison Code are:

While an article may belong to a particular chapter,
the numbering of all articles is consecutive so that the entire body of
articles of the Prison Code may be read as one, with or without the chapter
headings.
