Communication systems |
| |
The police force as a whole must have a secure radio network capable of enabling short and long wave radio transmission. This network should be reserved for all official communication and message transmission by police. |
| |
In addition, all police officers should be equipped with mobile phones to enable the outbound dialing of phone numbers as well as a secondary communication system. |
| |
Mobile phones should never be permitted to receive constant personal phone calls during a patrol. A police officer who is found to constantly be taking personal calls should have their mobile phone rights temporarily suspended. |
