| 28.1 | Situation Control and prevention | |
| Police are responsible for the handling of emergency and social disorder situations and ensuring such events do not cause greater panic or disorder. These include: | ||
| (1) Crowd control and the prevention of riots; | ||
| (2) Traffic control ; | ||
| (3) Accident and emergency response including redirecting traffic and people; | ||
| (4) Securing crime scenes and redirecting traffic and people where required; | ||
