4. Police power
and rights

| 20.1 | Rights of respect | |
| The first and most important right and power of Police is the right of respect. | ||
| This right of respect is based on the understanding that Police perform an arduous and solemn public duty that demands respect for their position and standing in society. | ||
| Any disrespect, any attack or intimidatory behaviour towards police is by default a direct attack on the justice system, the constitution and the sovereignty of Asia Union. | ||
| 20.2 | The right of respect protected in law as an offence under Article 102 of the Criminal Code | |
| Not only is the right of respect considered socially important in the way in which the police service is portrayed and supported through society, respect to law enforcement officers is protected as an offence under Article 102 of the Criminal Code. | ||
| Any person who is deliberately disrespectful, in course language, spitting and/or other anti-social behaviours towards a police officer shall be guilty of a criminal offence. | ||
