Article 02-The
primary objectives of the Emergency Code |

The primary objectives of the Emergency Code are as follows: |
|
| |
1. To provide a single supreme document codifying all rules and procedures relating to lawful imprisonment, correctional system and associated civil and criminal law;
|
|
| |
2. To present a clear set of standards and code of conduct for all corrections officers of United Australia;
|
|
| |
3. To define the complete powers and rights of prisoners;
|
|
| |
4. To outline the limits of correctional staff responsibility, skills and competencies;
|
|
| |
5. To define the structures, design, principles and operation of correctional facilities;
|
|
| |
6. To protect the safety, rights and privileges of citizens of United Australia by ensuring the fair operation of the correctional system and all those that perform a function within the scope of the articles defined within the Emergency Code.
