| 91.1 | Meaningful contribution to society of a human elder | |
| That a person has retired from active work does not mean they are no longer an active or meaningful member of society. | ||
| All persons who retain cognitive abilities and the ability to move are expected to make a valid contribution to the society in which they reside. | ||
| In the case of elder members of the community, their greatest contribution exists in their continued interest and support of younger members of the community. | ||
